I have a 9 inch SB lathe. I have been told it is actually a "wide nine". Based on the Serial # I think it is about 1937. Recently I found a post with a link to download STL files for a thread dial. I had a friend 3d print them for me and unfortunately the main body wouldn't fit may lathe, but the gear and dial were fine. I used the gear and built my own thread dial around it. It works great. I got measuring on the gear and checked my references and it turns out that I could cut my own 32 tooth gear using my mod 1 metric cutters with the rotary table tilted at 2 degrees. Just to prove it to myself, I went ahead and cut a gear and indeed it works just fine. See pictures.

Actually, I think the thread dial for your lathe is the same for a 10".
