I rebuilt my engine a few years ago. well, I don't think I got the governor right.
I didn't have a pic of it before hand. since I didn't take any pics
anyway, I am not happy. we are again without power so I got it fired up. Last time it was night and I didn't mess with it, since I backfeed the dryer line.
I was under powered, only 105 volts, so I tightened the nut, but it was not doing what it used to under no load and underload. So I moved the spring out further, and left it light on the screw. It was low on voltage, so I tightened it until it reached 115v. It sounds ok under load, but it is not backing down much when the heater kicks out.
What I want to know, is when I re-assembled it, did I get it right? are the arms in the correct position? I've tried looking on line and don't find anything similar to my engine. I don't have a throttle, it's auto controlling.
