Tap drill question

Thanks to all!!

My project is to modify a trumpet mouth piece for a friend.
I will try to post some pics here prior to making any cuts

Plan is to drill & tap 3/8-40 trumpet mouthpiece.
I plan to use a 11/32 center drilling end mill to bore the hole for threading.
The material is brass, should I use a 2 or 4 flut cutter

suggestions appreciated
