In another topic, I mentioned the fact that I was going to pick up an old wood lathe.
A friend is down sizing and called me about his Dad's old wood lathe. Well on Saturday I stopped by and picked it up. It is an old T. Eaton of Canada Edgerite wood lathe. Other than the fact that my friend has not used it since age 14, over 60 years ago and that it was his Dad's since he could remember, I can not find any marks to show who made it. The decal on the side is not complete and the motor made by McKinnon was a replacement when the power changed from 25 to 60 hz, and is of no help. If any canadian members remembers or has any info that would be nice to know a bit more on this lathe. Maximum diameter would be under 10 X 24" from a quick measurement.

BTW McKinnon was bought by GM a long time ago as well!
