Getting ready to refurbish my 9 SB lathe and a badly needed clean up. New wick kit and rebuild book already purchased. Decided to order the original build card for it. Was surprised to see it made its way from Bridgeport, Conn to Lynchburg, Va over the years. Even more surprised to find initially a 230v 3ph motor installed. This was replaced by an original SB 110v GE motor at some point. Not sure what REVISED stamped on the card indicates. There is minimal wear on the ways indicating non heavy use and I continue the same limited hobby use.

It looks like the original motor was switched out at the factory prior to shipment. The switch should have been indicated in the remarks.

That would make sense as it appears to have been on there a long time. But then again 80 years is a long time. Sold same year I was born!
