Watching that video a couple of times...his luck peaked when he started to reach for the shirt in the chuck and somehow his hand didn't get wrapped up.

At least he had his Covid mask on!!!! However, with his luck he doesn't need any protection at all!!

By the way, he will need new sandals as the ones he had matched his shirt or better still maybe some steel toed boots so that he could lift a foot and hit the lathe foot brake...... its there but was not used!!!! No time to think when these things happen.

Moral of the show.... always wear a cheap/weak breakaway shirt!

I lost a friend in 4th grade to a tractor PTO. Pretty much the same thing. These machines scare the sh*t out of me. Doesn't stop me from using them, but all it takes is one wrong move.
