Well, I was going to post this in the finishing forum but, I see it no longer exists. Soooooo, I guess I will put it here instead. This is a project to add wings to my snowblower to get a little wider path. I am hoping to document the powder coating process a little bit.

Here is how the blower is starting out. A basic 54" wide unit. And the final fabrication of the wings. Stand by, more to follow.

Nice job, Randy. I'm sure glad I don't need one of those! :)

Beautiful paint job Randy, if you lived in the NE states it would be getting a major workout today.

Michael, we do get our fair share of snow, but you are correct not today.

NOW, here is the brace. It has been glassbeaded and cleaned with alcohol and the hanging wire is in place.

Here it is hangin in the oven being pre-heated.

And here it is after coating and curing still in the oven.

This is all being done in an ordinary house hold oven. Which is the restriction to my coating, anything that fits in the oven gets powder coated.

Great job Randy, how did you bend the wings?

Do you ever have trouble with it clogging up? Do you wonder why they clog?
