I made these for a friend this weekend. They are break hangers for center pull breaks. The pulley lets the pressure equalize on the arms of the break.
These go where the cable anchor bolt is shown in the diagram.
For scale the cable is about .060" The back bolts are 6-32 and the side set screw is 10-24. The pulley in around .750"
These are all stainless (mystery allow non magnetic). This is my second attempt at jeweling. I think it turned out well thanks to all the people that posted information here about how to jeweling.
The cable is held by a set screw and a tool steel plunger. I tested it by hanging 210lbs (Me) from it. It held great even when I jumped on it. The last thing I want is the cable to come loose on his breaks.
The jeweling is on the front side and the bolts are on the back. The back plate comes off so that you can put the wire yoke on the pulley. It has bosses on each end so it can't just be threaded though.
