Simple welding or soldering needed

I see a (magnet?) just prior to 0*...how many degree separation there? How far in from edge are 1/8” holes? Seems pretty straight forward, but as I’ve used my indexer 5 times since purchase...well, your risking a lot at altitude! I had to get help here just with indicating it in. Where I’m very green, I’m not going to sugar coat, but yeah, pretty straight forward directions.

The 1/8 holes are at 0, 180, and 220. I will install the magnets at home. The magnet at 220 is opposite polarity so that the ignition system knows where it is at. These positions have nothing to do with degrees from top dead center as the ECU is going to figure that out on it's own.

How far from the edge are the 1/8 holes: It's not critical. I will adjust the pick-up to set over that radius as needed later.

You more than likely have a 90 turn indexer which means you would drill at 0, 45, and 55 turns. The good news is you will not have to center
the indexer to drill the holes.

Looking at your link....that's pretty sweet that you don't require the fan & fan shroud. That always looked horrible on the motor in my opinion. Also, looks like they do not use the stock fuel system. That's awesome as the way it ran, the fuel line and fuel filter passed right over the distributor. Mine leaked once and the engine compartment caught on fire...I was only 16, but smart enough to have a fire extinguisher with me!
my indexer also does direct indexing and is marked 0-360....even easier to locate straight degrees vs the formulas for dividing a circle into an X amount of points. Again, I'm happy to help with anything that I don't fear for you or anyone else's safety. I just couldn't imagine building something to take into the air. Mostly, I have a healthy respect for heights...

Somehow I went from welding to machining...pretty funny.
