Hello, I recently purchased a Sidney lathe & need manuals for it. I found manuals on ebay but they appear to be for an older lathe. Any help would be appreciated.

i did some poking around and didn't come up with anything. if you go to

he may be able to help you, but he didn't have your lathe listed. that doesn't mean he doesn't have info though.

​Charlie, Seems like you and I are part of a small group that have Sidney lathes. Yours is newer than mine so I don't know how much help I can give you. Mine is pre 1930 and set up a little different from yours. I'm on line here every day so you can always send me a PM and I'll try to help. I don't have a manual but know my way around mine.

I was able to get the old girl moved into position & working on changing over from 440 to 220 now. Does anyone have experience with a static phase converter on a 7 1/2 hp lathe motor? I can run a rotary phase converter but would rather go with the static if it will work ok.
