As posted on another thread, I have a PM728VT inbound. I picked up a Greenlee job box last week and intend to mount the mill on it. It was on nice casters but I would prefer it to stay in one place, so version 1 is I picked up a piece of 4X41/4" steel tube at the salvage steel yard and drilled mounting holes to match the caster mounting pattern. I was able to shim the cabinet level. The cabinet has a pretty good hump in the middle so I will mount the mill itself on four, 4x4X3/8" plates through bolted through the top of the cabinet. I will then be able to shim the base to level the table as required. The four plates are level to each other and to the world. The top of the table should be 42.5" from the floor when I have it mounted.

Bonus is I could use a pallet jack or a forklift to move the whole thing around if I need to. If this works, then I will leave it alone. If not, then I can work on V2 as required.
