Yup, in all but a few cases, all we on the forum can do is give our advice, ideas, and suggestions. Not so easy to pile up a project in the pickup and driver over to a buddy's house and work on it. But we do the best we can to keep each other out of trouble.

2 give that carbon (?) a light test scrape with pen knife

little pieces were falling off of broken piston when i moved it.:)
