Hey Mike,

Interesting to see delrin in the shaper......in my mind, the elasticity of the material might come into play.....moreso than on the mill or lathe.
Just curious: Did you notice the entire block changing shape during a cut?
I suppose it would depend on how much material length is out of the chuck jaws.

it was a complete S#it show
the whole slug moved back and forth.
the delrin was just a test to see what i could get away with.
truth be told, i figured if the delrin went flying, i wouldn't put bronze in the rotary table ;)

delrin machines beautifully on a shaper, in a vise
