My shop vac has a small diameter hose. As such, it tends to get clogged on a regular basis... So as we're all in lock down I've started noodling on Fusion 360 and came up with some new parts to allow me to fit a much bigger 50mm (2" near as dammit) to the Vac.
Not printed out as yet, as I'm waiting the post man to deliver the new hose for it - and I need that to measure the pitch and size of the reinforcing ribs that spiral down it. One thing I did find out is that an M68x5 thread (that's what the shop vac screw on connector is) is non standard - so I had to modify the thread files in fusion 360 to allow that size, according to the instructions here:
I shall update my progress as and when I print it out and get it all fitted.
