Hi,

I tried to post this over on the Raise3D forum but I'm new there and it hasn't shown up yet.

Does anyone here have one of these machines?

I've inherited one at work that I need to get going, the previous expert has left the country and the Linux box that I think ran OctoPrint and Ideamaker is nowhere to be found.

Anyone who could coach me on what's needed to get it back online will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

John

Should just need to install Ideamaker (you can download it from Raise3D's web site, works on Windows, Mac, or Linux) and plug in the printer via USB. I wouldn't worry about Octoprint until you get the printer working.

Alternatively, it looks like Cura supports at least some Raise3D printers, if you'd rather use software that is more common in the 3D printing community.

Thanks, actually got it talking to my OctoPrint (OctoPi) server right before leaving work tonight. Print server is a requirement for others to be able to use it.

May be able to turn over management of it to one of my guys but I’ll need to have the skill too.

John
