Question about drill press chuck

I don't change drills that often, so perhaps the need for keyless has never arose. My favorite is the Jacobs Super. They are precise and durable, and I simply enjoy looking at them. I have an 18N on the Bradford, and a 16N on the Clausing bench top that is just behind the Bradford in the photo.

I put a Rohm 5/8 chuck on my drill press I believe it said it would only go down to 1/8 inch but i have had no trouble with bits down to 1/16 inch. But that was a keyed chuck so i do not know about keyless chucks. On keyless chucks,, the albright may be good but stay away from anything under 200 bucks. The keyless chucks that i have run into are a never ending temptation to cursing. I would rather use a brace and bit than the keyless chucks that come on battery drills. I have used Rohm keyless chucks for 1/2 inch threaded drills and they were little better. slipped all the time. So my advice is go keyed unless you are willing to go big bucks on the keyless chuck.
