Potentially giving an Excello Tool Grinder a second chance at life !

The shop that came out of is tight! I mean tight, you walk with care or your body hits machines, materials etc. Not much for aisleways.
Many times when I give to repair a machine "things" have to be moved so I can access the machine.
Cleanliness is not a priority, making chips is.
I don't pretend to agree with it, I deal with it and complain about it later.

Somewhere in this machines history somebody added an extra steel plate over the left hand table. Guessing they had a holder that fit just the way they wanted to use it often enough to justify the change. Well several days of soaking and wire brushing finally uncovered the screws holding it on. Several more days of sitting level soaking screws in blaster finally was able to loosen them up ! Only 8 degrees F here at the farmIMG_20230204_104347393.jpgtoday and I've been rewiring the shop so outside on snow covered bench but another step closer to cleaning and disassembly.IMG_20230204_105631385.jpg
