It seems a growing number of posters here at HM forum have purchased this pair of machine tools... thought I would start a thread so we could gather and share our experiences and knowledge. And of course folks with other PM machines are welcome.
Here is my first question:
How does one adjust the gibs on the two machines? I am not asking for the mechanics of where the screws are, rather how to determine if the gibs are tight enough.
I have read too loose = sloppy work.... and too tight = wear on the ways.
