Anybody ever here of or know anything about a brand of chuck called precision chuck or pc. Someone gave me a brand new 6" 3 jaw, plain back. I would need to get a backing plate for it and turn it to match and drill and tap it for screws so I was just wondering if this chuck was worth messing with. It seems like it is made for gripping inside of a piece rather than the outside as the jaws are smooth and quite wide on the inside. It does take a 1/2" chuck key as well, which I don't have so I may have to make one. I tried googling it but no luck. There is a little round trademark label on the chuck like most chucks have, it says pc and precision chuck.
