Opinion on Surface Grinder

Comes with Brown & Sharpe permanent magnet chuck (5" x 10").

Definitely not a quality machine. Has it's advantages if you want a small light machine.
If you have the room then a full sized machine would be much nicer.

Little to big for my small garage.
Would be nice to have a surface grinder but probably impractical.

Would love to have a small surface grinder for pistol work and stuff. But I too don't have the room for a full-sized machine (or the money). I've had my eye on that small one Grizzly sells, but I'm sure it would need 'tuning' to get it functional to my satisfaction. It wouldn't be the first time I've had to do that.

I think the price seems way to high.. you could get a full size for that price.
I like the size, sure it's limited in what it can do, but I'll bet it can do ok if you use it smartly. Just like any of the small mills. you have to realize it's limitations.
