New PM25 quill DRO shuts off after a few minutes

Did anyone ever figure out a way to disable this? Maybe by cutting a solder trace or something? My 2023 727 does this and i'd much rather adapt this to run on an AA than constantly have it be turning off all the time, it's very annoying.

They are now made to shut off after 5 min. hitting any of the buttons before then will reset the timer and keep it awake. There isn't a way to change this. They did it to save battery power.
