got my pm-932 in the mail yesterday. thanks a bunch to Ray on that. he really worked with me and helped me out and had it shipped really fast. thanks to matt too, he answered all of my questions before Ray started helping me out. had a heck of a time getting it in the shop. i only have a man door and it is all gravel outside so it was interesting to say the least.

then, bought a big ol' south bend earlier this week and picked it up today. i posted another thread asking for moving help and said it was a 16", but i think it is a 14". doesn't matter really, i just wanted something a little bigger than my logan 10x24. it was quite interesting to get in the shop as well. anyways, here are some pics.

oh, and pardon the mess of a shop. i have only lived here a couple of months and it has been so cold i haven't been in the shop much. i still haven't quite got situated and comfy in there yet. having a hard time figuring out a layout i'm happy with.

i'm gonna build a stand to get the mill up to a good working height, also need something to make it easier to move.

haven't got the lathe all put together yet, but i at least got it in the shop... quite the chore by myself.

Wow, nice space to work in. Is all that for your shop or do you need to put vehicles in there too? Ouch, crane hoists over soil... -fun...

Clean it, lube it, tram it -and you're off to the races.

no vehicles in there. the overall building is is 35' x 55' i think, but the working area with concrete is only about 25' x 35' i would guess. way better than my last house, but not really that nice. at least i can keep all my junk and toys in the rest of the building so my shop is just my shop.

That's a nice size lathe! Looks like just the perfect bed length. Moving it by yourself reminds me of the way I have to do things - cherry picker hoist and a boom on the tractor, but oh well we do what we have to do when no one else is around to help. Good luck with getting your shop setup.

Looks like you're well on your way to having a nicely furnished shop. I'm envious of your space.
