Hi All,

Just landed a new job working as a metrologist (not to be confused with a meteorologist, .... or an astronomer ). Had a tour of the plant last week, saw the biggest pink granite surface plate ever. Had to be a minimum of 10' across and ~2 feet thick. Not the best pay, but it's a job, and the toys are cool. They are consolidating another shop and may have some tooling up for sale soon. I heard they might be dumping a couple of bridgeports. I wouldn't mind wrapping my sweaty little paws around one of those. I'll post if anything comes up for sale.

Guess I'll have to unretire.

In this economy it is great to hear some one is hiring! Good luck in your lasted endeavor. New toys yeah!

Congrats on the new job!

If you get one of those BP's please go through your resto process with us- that would be an invaluable article.
