Hi All,
Just landed a new job working as a metrologist (not to be confused with a meteorologist, .... or an astronomer :thinking. Had a tour of the plant last week, saw the biggest pink granite surface plate ever. Had to be a minimum of 10' across and ~2 feet thick. Not the best pay, but it's a job, and the toys are cool. They are consolidating another shop and may have some tooling up for sale soon. I heard they might be dumping a couple of bridgeports. I wouldn't mind wrapping my sweaty little paws around one of those. I'll post if anything comes up for sale.
Guess I'll have to unretire.
