Need help I just bought a model Atlas Th42 lathe .What size motor does it require to run?

I joined up so many great people on here.
I have 50 years as a wood worker. I'm very excited to start my journey into metal lathe work.

I checked runout it is at .0005 on my Atlas Th42 lathe I know this might not be the best but for a lathe over 70 years I am very impressed. I checked by hand it was zero then at full rpm . I ordered a new motor and 3 phase VFD controller and a quick change tool holder. I'm also building a new all steel base and motor mounts
I will post pictures when done.

Table is two inch oak mounted to cast iron frame. The guy ran it like that he bought it new in 40s . Update put a 1/3 hp on it ever thing does work. I bypassed the reverse switch.
I built a steel table for lathe and bolted it to floor. The lathe runs so much better. Thank you for your advice.
.

If you have an extra $25 (plus some shipping) lying around I have an Atlas manual for you.
