Looks like a 10a motor, so you could get away with 16 gauge wire. That said, anything less than ~12 gauge freaks me out a little, so I always default to 12 gauge.
14 gauge stranded wire is fine. 16 gauge also ok for short runs like 3 feet between motor and switch
The yellow and brown stay where they were in post #2
Interchange red and black if you need to to match motor rotation to switch

Use 14 gauge for the main AC feed, switch terminals 5 and 6 and stud 1 and 2

LOL I have the same situation in my garage. Wow you have some cool goodies in there...I see a Logan and I think a Southie. Did you make that steady rest?
