What kind of lathe does OP have?

So another tool crossed off the 'To Do' list. Made a pair of machinist jacks, and wanted to post a few pics.

Impressive what lathe did you use?

The lathe is mostly unimportant. A south bend or logan of 9" or more could have done that work.
A monarch or sheldon..
it doesn't matter, what does matter is his attention to detail, and hitting his marks.

edit: Oh, and the Vanilla Cream helped too.

Thank you for looking and commenting. The lathe I'm using is a Precision Matthews PM-1340GT, but as Woodchucker pointed out below, this can really be done with any decent lathe.

One of the things I need to make.

Your workman ship is amazing. Very beautiful. I use 1/2-13 coupling nuts with 3" or 4" bolts that have the surface ground flat. Seems to work for me but I am not the craftsman you are.
