I milled the slots with this cutter and it worked beautifully, no noticeable wear and tear on the cutter. Here's a pix of the part attached. The slots were a few thou. underside from the plasma cutting. Some of you may recognize this part as the table for Harold Halls grinding rest which I'm in the process of building. Many thanks again to everyone for the great suggestions.
