[Noteworthy] Lindsay Books Closing Feb. 2013

I just received a Lindsay catalog and it said it was the last. The owner is retiring and won't accept orders after Feb. 2013.

Thought you guys would like to know.

I too just got my catalog yesterday and was totally bummed out to hear that. There are so many books in his catalog I'd like to have but just don't have the money to purchase right now. I guess I'll have to figure out which ones I want the most.

Does anyone know if he's looking to sell the catalog, or do something to pass it on so that it can keep operating? It would be such a shame to lose such a great resource for these hard to find out of print books.

Sad, sad, I've been dealing with Lindsay for a long time, not a lot of stuff, but I've used and enjoyed it all.

Your Old Time Bookstore is going to continue with many of Lindsay's books. Their website is http://www.youroldtimebookstore.com/. They say they won't have all titles though, so check for the ones you want.
