/lathe mill combo separation

I will be separating the mill from the lathe. I have ordered the table assembly from LMS. Is there any reason to leave the bracket with the foot support on the lathe? Is is supporting the middle of the bed? What have you done. I should have the table assembly by Wednesday Thanks Doug

Doug any pictures by chance ? Might help to explain what you are talking about?

Is that Kit from LMS the one to have a separate X3 mill? I think I remember seeing an ad for that kit a while back. Just wondered?
