Hi folks,

I am missing the large 2-step transmission pulley for a '84 JET-1236PS (see the picture below from a fellow hobby-machinist member. the picture is missing the motor pulley, but I'm interested in the large transmission pulley). I believe this is a 8"x9.4" step pulley and the bore size is 20mm.
I called JET and they don't have any parts anymore for this model.

Any ideas where can I find something closely matching? What other brands/models are similar to the 1236PS?
JET only produced for a short period of time this configuration and then it switched to a 5"x6" pulley with a different pairing on the motor. So far, the matching Grizzlies and Encos that I found have the smaller pulley.

Thanks!

You might be able to adapt a Atlas/Craftsman pulley from one of the 10 or 12 inch lathe countershaft assemblies
The bore would be different but the diameter might be close enough

ShenWai, Samson, Trans World Steel, Lantaine, and about 97 other names were used for the 1236 class of Asian lathes.
The best of which came from Taiwan .
The mainland machines have proven to be slightly inferior to the Tiawanese counterparts. The Tiawanese appear to have better QC and they appear to have some pride in their work.
Good enough that i have 2- 1236 Shenwai’s and a 2040 Victor lathe

P.S.
You may find similar pulleys @ McMaster-Carr, Grainger, Motion Industries, King Bearing, etc.
