Ah, yes, I read the thread about removing them--wedges, hole drilling and such. I expect it would come off pretty dry--looks like it's been on there since the '50s. For my use, I think the MT2 can stay on--I have a MT3 to MT2 adapter if I want to mount it in the headstock.
