I purchased a set of three TTS style ER16 collet holders off Amazon. All three are very similar, with the nut off and looking into the large opening end the hole that the collet snaps into is clearly off center. I suppose the collet can actually move (be centered) within the snap hole, becuase the snap hole is larger than the collet at that point, so I guess it's possible that this might be okay, sure does not look correct.
I'm no expert and I suppose that the collet is ultimately centered by the taper in the holder so this might be acceptable?
