Individual "t" Nuts Or "t" Bar

My vertical slide (not quite finished) for my asian 9x20 will have a fair bit of overhang, bolted at each corner to "T" nuts on the cross slide.
I'm thinking of adding one or two more bolts along the rear edge as an added measure against the pulling force that will occur when items are being milled.
Do you think a "T" bar for the bolts to screw into would be stronger overall or individual "T" nuts
 
Charles, I get 1/4 inch carriage bolts the desired length for the hold needed. I thin the thickness of the head to fit the lower part of the slot and trim the width of two sides of the head 180 apart a tad. The square on the bolt fits perfect.
