I might be a bit dumb and impressionable

I'm talking about aligning holes that are further apart than the reamer can reach.
Ive done this with regular chucking reamers by making a collar to fit the reamer shank and the hole.

If you make it stepped it will cover both ends or you can make two separate sized ones.

The adjustable reamer set covers sizes I don't have reamers for so I'm really glad to have it. I'm still collecting chucking and hand reamers as I find them.

It seems these reamers are more easily searched under Kingpin reamers.

Just throwing it out there.

I opened up an AR lower from small pin to large pin this way and it worked really well.

They cleaned up very nicely! I disassembled each one and throughly cleaned them. It was quite a project. They all adjust very smoothly. No chance of any chips under a blade causing issues. The quality is apparent.

I would use some elbow grease with medium coarse and then fine steel wool on those and then coat with Boeshield. they won't look brand new but will look good and work well. wire wheeling won't make them look new either but may cause problems. not worth it.
