Here's a quick video showing how to grind a sheet metal drill, also known as a brad point or spur point drill that will drill perfectly round holes in sheet metal or wood.

Thanks for a very useful load of information. It has been said you are never to old to learn something new. I have never heard of making your own "Sheet Metal" bits, but now I know what I am going to be doing with a number of my duplicate bits..
