Help with 1928 lathe

Looking for information about a lathe I just bought. Trying to figure out the gear sizes needed. Looks like it needs 7/8” ID gears.

Maybe considering bolting it down, it looks pretty top heavy as is.
I will be removing the riser blocks and returning it to what I believe is a 16” lathe. The head stock has two cast aluminum riser blocks that allow the head stock to be rotated. Unfortunately the tail stock is sitting on 2 cast iron risers and they were welded to the tail stock base. Hopefully I can grind out the welds and remove the risers.
 
That's a South Bend Lathe. You can always tell a South Bend by the pointed dial on the carriage feed. Here is some info. There are other brochures on Vintagemachinery.org that you can look for more feed gear info in the "reprint" section. http://vintagemachinery.org/pubs/1617/26019.pdf
