Help identifying X2 spindle wobble

Shooter, what happened with the head vibrating and getting hot and the gritty sound? Did that all resolve with the spindle bearing change? Clearly, the wobbling pulley has been cleared, right?
The gritty sound is gone and it doesnt get as hot now. The vibrating has improved but its not gone completely. I attribute that to the terrible boring job on the spindle so it is not balanced well.

The wobbling pulley has also improved, but it isnt perfect either. I think the pulley is either bent or just poorly machined since the surfaces I used to reference when I faced it were not aligned with each other.

I am not going to worry about it because I need to make a new pulley to mount a 1.3 HP motor on it and gear the speed from 3600 to 8000 or so.

Yeah, if the pulley is out of whack then I can see the vibration persisting but it sounds like the bearings handled the gritty sound and heat. Thanks for the update.
