Hello, new to the forum.

I live in Westchester country, NY, which is about 40 mins driving from NYC and need to fit the parts to an air bearing. Please see attached photos. If someone locally can grind the surfaces I marked with red arrows in the photos, please let me know. I am not an expert but I guess it can be sanded down on a lathe. Thank you in advance!

Jim

Here is the drawing. I think the best way to do is I can take the shaft and air bearing to someone who can do it for me to have a perfect fit.

Air bearings are high precision. The tolerances are extremely tight. Make sure you are up to the work and have the right resources to be able to do it correctly, or you will probably be wasting your time and effort. The cost of having it done by someone else might be high, and not just anybody can do it right. However, it is not clear to me if you are making parts for the air bearing or something to attach to the air bearing.

It is the housing for air bearing. I bought a roller air bearing already.
