First chips with the Mill

Finally started using the mill (very similar to the Rong Fu mill) to make few rough cuts in a steel plate. Turned out ok - quite a satisfying process. Only thing was: I couldn't figure out how to lock the fine adjustment dial so it would stay in one position without moving on its own. Had to physically hold it steady with my hand, lest it turn back and mess up the cut. There is a locking nut on the quill handle (on the right), but I don't see any kind of immobilizer on the fine adjustment spindle (on the left). I have a pic but it's very dark:

First chips are awesome!
There should be a locking lever on the left side of the head near the front.
