End Mills?

I received a bunch of these, I believe are end mills. Or would you use them in a lathe tailstock?

I'd call them drills, rather than end mills. They appear to be cemented (brazed) carbide cutting edges.
 
They really don't look like any masonry bits I have seen. They were in a box of milling machine stuff. They do have brazed carbide cutting edges.

That's what I thought, but the square shoulders (that would be for the counterbore) appear to be the same diameter as the drill.

You may be right, Stan. I was going by the first and third picture. So that is my best guess. Mark
