Hi, I am new to the site & am greatful for the info that the community has provided me to date...my father is in his 80's & has a brand new in the box, never used Emco Maximat Super 11 & V10 Lathe Tool Post Grinder (pls see pix)...he sold his lathe last year & I am helping him to downsize...he never got around to using this Emco piece...we would like to see his collectable pieces go to people who know what they are & can use & appreciate them...would some within the community provide an idea of fair valuation? ...I hope that is ok..please let me know...my email is david.drake@sympatico.ca...thanks for your help

That was bought for a V10, I think. Brand new, at today's prices, it is worth about $600-700.00. Very expensive because not many in new condition, and even more surprising because grinding is not something you want to do often on an expensive lathe.

Thanks for the info...so would I be correct in describing that it is Emco V10 Lathe Tool Post Grinder (which will also fit other lathes including the Maximat Super 11)? I dont want to mistakenly mislead...once a fair value is established, then I am sure my father would entertain a fair offer
