Hey all!
I just picked up a new to me Duracraft floor drill press. Had some questions about the chuck. It’s a Jacobs 33 taper, but it has a jam nut on top of the chuck, which I have not seen before. I would like to replace the chuck with a keyless, but cannot figure out how to remove/replace. There’s isn’t any cutaways on the quill to use a wedge either. Any suggestions?

My guess is the jam nut is part of an arbor. I'm thinking if you put a wrench on it, maybe with a little heat the whole thing will come out
