Installing the DRO on the lathe, working on the Z axis scale now and learning that patience is sure needed. It would make it a little easier if I could get around the back side a little better. I can get back there but it's a little tight. It would also make it easier if I had a helper.

I had to make a support for one end as they shipped two spacers, but I needed one for the middle. I am getting close now, trying to get all three angles lined up all at the same time is tasking to say the least. Patience my friend, patience!

Well, I'm almost done. It works as it is, but I need to do something with the cables. I have seen a couple of installs that used Drag Chain. How do you get the cables in that stuff? Is it large enough to get the ends through it or does it come apart to put the cables in it?

I'm not sure I have it set-up right either. I don't imagen there is a standard for this kind of thing. It seems as though the default is measuring the Radius. Is there a reason for that? In my mind measuring the Diameter would make more since. But I have just about zero experience.

Anyway this is where it is as of this evening.
