Folks, I need a blade guard for a Dewalt Powershop Radial saw made back in the '60s.
Anybody know what fits, or parting one?

I would check eBay, do a search and save it. I found parts for my 10" saw there a few months ago. Listings are a bit spotty, but if you're patient the parts you're looking for are sure to show up. You might want to go to places like the Vintage Machinery website and download a few manuals for different model Black & Decker and Dewalt saws. Often times the parts interchange over several models.

The blade guards changed a bit over the years as different safety features were added and changed. I believe the basic mounting remained compatible for saws of similar size. For example my Dad had a 10" model 1400, I still have a 12" model 7790. My Dad borrowed my blade guard and a 12" blade when he was working on some 4x4s for a railing. (This is making me feel old, that was about 25 years ago.)
