Congrats on a great purchase. You did well by doing the minimum cleanup. Later you can redo it and refine your grind. bravo!
 
Enjoy the "new" grinder. Go slow, read books, watch the videos and talk to experienced grinder hands. I've been using my SG for about a year - there is a lot to figure out. It seems that every time I tackle a new grinding project, some new issue will come up - called a "learning opportunity". When I first got started I felt like a "rock star" - this is easy. After playing with the SG for a month, I felt that I knew nothing. Enjoy the new machine, my experience is that it opens up a whole new world of competencies to discover (and more tools to buy to support those new capabilities).
