Have any of you been following the 18 part series by Dan Gelbart on Youtube. Very informative and his basement shop is out of this world. (anyone else have a lathe that will turn to the accuracy of one micron) An he has a lot of just plain good practices as well. I looked him up on Google and it seems he is a world class inventor and manucaturer of prototypes for the optics people. In fact he has become a Billionair working out of his basement workshop. If you love tools you will love his videos.

yes, i have seen a few of his videos and am amazed at the accuracy he employs.
his workshop is also cleaner than most kitchens

I've watched his videos several times, and drooled over his DIY lathe, never realized that was his basement....

I have viewed Mr Gelbart's videos and enjoyed them very much. Thanks for posting this article. It expands my appreciation of the skills he possesses.
