Well, with the 1229Q coming off the workstand, I'm going to need a plinth for it. I tried the 1249 plinth, but it's too deep to fit the 1249 plinth. The bracket that protects the levers in the center is just too deep. So a custom plinth it is.
Dropped into the hardware store today and bought 240 bucks worth of oak. Ouch. Wood is anything but cheap these days.
Will be sort of along these lines:
It just won't be quite as fancy with the inlays. I'm planning on just plain oak sides.
