converting wood bandsaw to metal

i used the same motor that came with the saw but as you see i had to re mount it so i made a mounting plate with my press brake that you see to the right or the picture.

as you see this was a call for celebration i just plugged the saw in and everything worked like it supposed to. YEA!

#2 of guard, don't laugh at my welds that was the first time i stitch welded and didn't blow any holes in it. i have since ground and made it look pretty i will have pics later.

updates on saw conversion after painting and final assembly i got lucky and found some spray paint to match the grizzly colors i am pretty happy with how it turned out ,here is a rear view before panels were installed .
