Finally Got the mill/drill out of the storage area 2 days ago, tight fit through a 28" door using the fork lift attachment on the Branson 3510 tractor. Used a 30" pry bar and short 2" X 4" blocks to get it high enough to run the forks under two 2" x 4" x 24" long cross pieces. Set the mill on the concrete driveway to do the clean-up, it is steady enough to clean grease and rust.
I am impressed with vinegar and scotch bright pads that were recommended in a recent blog. Used a scraper on rust and grease and removed the grease with a mill way cleaning bristle brush and Stoddard solvent. Oh yes and lots of blue paper towels. I may hit the table once more with vinegar and scotch bright pads when the mill is fully assembled.
The next step is preparing a trailer so I can run it on display.
Have a good day
